ELVARNIXO Shaping — light is made at the last metre

Parabolics reward precision and punish pretenders; the Corona is precise — measured beam maps at three positions, silver that keeps its colour, and ribs that replace one by one instead of retiring the instrument.

A parabolic is a precision instrument pretending to be an umbrella: sixteen or twenty-four ribs holding a true curve, a focusing rod that glides and locks, and fabrics whose silver keeps its colour after the two-hundredth assembly. Ours are hand-finished, serialised, and repairable rib by rib.

Design & Craft

  • Textiles woven and graded for neutral colour after years of vans
  • Frames open in seconds and forgive the two-hundredth assembly
  • Beam pattern as stated by the manufacturer
  • Indexed focusing rod — note the number, repeat the look
  • Silver keeps its colour; ribs replace one by one
  • Sixteen or twenty-four ribs holding a true parabolic curve

Care

Brush textiles dry, never wash silver fabrics, and let diffusion dry before rolling. Store parabolics on the rod, ribs relaxed. Small tears are repairable — send us photographs and we will confirm which parts are available.

Questions, Answered

Can textiles be replaced?
Replacement panels, ribs and diffusion layers are available as spare parts. Modifiers should retire from fashion, not from failure.

How repeatable is the focus effect on the parabolics?
The rod is indexed — note the number, repeat the look. Beam maps at three rod positions ship in the box.
