Cinema fixtures are infrastructure with an opinion about beauty. Yoke and pins are steel, rated and stamped; power supplies run mains or battery without complaint; and wireless DMX, RDM and local control coexist so the board operator and the ladder operator stop negotiating. Photometrics are stated as published by the manufacturer — lux at three metres you can plan a lighting plot around.

Dust is the enemy of thermals: clear intakes monthly and keep diffusion domes clean — output and colour depend on it. Update firmware when prompted; calibration data rides along. Never force a yoke bolt: torque figures are printed at the knuckle.
